President & Founding Partner

Arthur D. Kerins has 41 years of experience in the computer consulting industry, including 12 years in investment banking. He began his career as a COBOL developer in 1985, working on systems for Consulting Solutions, Inc., where he created a personal information manager designed to work on either hard disks or floppy disks.

Arthur later worked in document processing for the Investment Banking division of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. After learning the Microsoft suite of desktop applications, he became Supervisor of Research Services for the High Yield Division of Shearson Lehman/American Express. Following the Shearson split, he transferred to the Information Systems division of Lehman/American Express as a desktop support technician.

He went on to support the High Yield Group at Bear Stearns before joining its IT division to manage Research and Development. After serving as Associate Director, Arthur became Associate Director in charge of Research and Development for Barclays Bank’s U.S. Investment Banking Division. He later spent seven years as a partner at Merritt Technology, helping expand the company into a multimillion-dollar business, before founding Quantum Technology Partners with fellow Merritt employee Ray Gittings.
