Quantum’s Intern program was instituted 3 years ago, we were contacted by a teacher from Spire School in Stamford, CT asking if we would take a student intern for school credit, we immediately agreed and our 1st intern started working with us, he was a future student of UCONN and was very eager to learn and was a great asset to our team, he was able to handle any project we gave him and was instrumental in developing our website Updates, he showed such enthusiasm that we decided to increase our internship to other candidates, to date Quantum has had 4 interns all showing different strengths and the ability to learn as they work side by side with Senior Engineers, We hope to continue the program going forward, as we see the interest level extremely high for these future Network engineers, Developers, Technicians, etc.

“I have been interested in computers for years. Ever since I was a kid I’ve wanted to build and design computers despite not having the resources to do so, and this internship gives me the chance to do what I want to do with my life. I even built my own high end gaming PC here with the help of the other intern, David Yassen.” – Tyler W

“I live in a household with family members who work in similar fields. After they noticed my interest in computers, they suggested that I go out and try to gain some experience since they want me to work with them in the city in a similar field. Starting an internship here at Quantum was a great first step.” – David
